Elevator Pitch: Jesus is the Son of God and the son of Mary. True God and true man. Fully God and fully man.

The Yarn-ball Unraveled: The Trinity is a mystery but we attempt to crack it open here as we discuss that Jesus is the Son of God. We are also sons and daughters of God but in a different way. He says, “my father” but instructs us to pray, “our father.” The Word became flesh for us men and for our salvation but more specifically:

1. in order to save us by reconciling us with God (457)
2. so that thus we might know God’s love (458)
3. to be our model of holiness (459) – love one another as I have loved you
4. to make us partakers of the divine nature (460)
